5 Questions for 2024
For all of 2024, we want to direct our energies toward growing deeper in our knowledge of Christ and growing wider in our reach and missional engagement. We are asking every Redeemer Church member and attender to spend 2024 consistently answering five questions.
1. Where am I serving?
The church is a family and families serve one another. One of the primary ways we express the mind and humble posture of Christ is by serving one another (Phil. 2:5-11). If you are not actively serving your brothers and sisters, fill out the attached for to take your next step.

Beyond serving our church family, we express the love of Christ by serving our neighbors. 2. Who am I reaching?
Who is your one that you want to reach with the gospel?
Please fill out the attached form with their name and the SEND Network Team will commit to pray for them.
Also, share their name with your community group so that you are actively praying for that person's salvation.
In addition to praying for your one, take steps to be better equipped to clearly express the gospel. All Christians are called to be missionaries where they live. Use the following resources to grow in your evangelism efforts.

3. Who am I discipling?
The central call of the mission Jesus has given us is to make disciples (Matt. 28:18-20). Discipleship is not something that happens by accident but through intentional relationships. The question each of us has to answer is who am I discipling? If you believe that you need to be discipled before investing in someone else, then we would call you to seek someone out to disciple you. We have created a page with guides on how to disciple and how to be discipled.
4. What am I learning?
The goal of the Christian life is to know God and enjoy him forever. Enjoying is preceded by knowing. For the entire 2024 year, we will be in a series called Emmaus Road. This series is based upon Jesus's words in Luke 24 when he teaches the Apostles that all of the Bible is about him. We will survey the entirety of the Bible, week-by-week, to see how all of Scripture points us to Jesus. Each quarter, we will be providing study guides that include a reading plan, reflection questions, and audio resources that will help you grasp the Christ-centered narrative of the entire bible.
5. What am I giving?
Our culture is one that drive us toward consumerism rather than generosity. Scripture describes the Christian life being one that is marked sacrificial giving. We’ve developed the Generosity Pathway to help you see where you are right now and create clear next steps for your growth. As we move from beginning givers towards extravagant givers, we not only increase our giving but also our kingdom impact.
BEGINNING
Every journey begins with a first step. If you’ve never given before, take the first step on the Generosity Pathway by giving a gift today.
CONSISTENT
If you have given something in the past, but are not giving regularly, your next step is to become a consistent giver. Paul tells the Corinthian church to set aside some money every week for generosity. Setting up a recurring gift is a great way to become a consistent giver.
SACRIFICIAL
Simply put, sacrificial giving is setting aside the "first fruits" of everything God has given us. While the New Testament does not tie generosity to the Old Testament tithe, it does consistently celebrate acts of generosity that often exceed a tithe. So, think of sacrificial giving as an important step that moves us from the act of giving towards a heart of true generosity. Aim to pick a sacrificial percentage of your resources to set aside for generosity.
ABUNDANT
Abundant giving goes above and beyond what might be normal or expected. When we take a step into abundant giving, it looks like consistently giving above the tithe in a way that showcases the transforming work Jesus has done in our lives.
EXTRAVAGANT
An extravagant giver lives a life that demonstrates that every single resource, financial or otherwise, is a gift from God and to be used for his glory. Taking a step into extravagant giving means there is nothing withheld, and every area of your life is freely and joyfully given for kingdom purposes.
