The Super Bowl is upon us!  Come join RSM Sunday, February 5th, from 5:15-whenever the game ends.  We will have free pizza, prizes, and tons of fun as we enjoy a good game and hilarious commercials.  The event is for all students in 5th-12th grades.  We will be gathering in the home of Wes and Amy Hunter.  Click here for directions! Please start spreading the word NOW!  We’d love to have everybody there!

We are going to camp.  We are headed to Student Life Camp this summer in Denton at the University of North Texas.  We will be there from July 23rd-27th and this camp is open to any students who will have completed the 5th grade through college.  The cost is about $300 per student but PLEASE don’t let money be a hindrance.  If you or your student would like to go, we will find a way to get them there.  The important thing I need right now is a head count a deposit BY JANUARY 31ST.  Even if you are a for sure “no” please let me know asap so I’m not left wondering.  I must have a $60 deposit per student by January 31st.  The speaker will be J.R. Vassar and the worship will be led by Kristian Stanfill, both of which are dynamic at what they do.  You don’t want to miss this.  Please contact Ryan with any questions or concerns!

Student Life Youth Camp!

When: July 23-27
Where: UNT Campus in Denton
Who: Upcoming 6th graders and older
Cost: $330/student ($60 deposit due Sunday, January 22)
We’ll be joining a camp this summer called Student Life Camp and it will be held on the campus of the University of North Texas in Denton, which is nice since both Kate and I attended there, we are very familiar with the campus and Denton itself.  We really also like Denton due to the fact that we don’t have a church vehicle and it is close.  The dates for this camp are July23-27 and the cost is about $300-$330/per student.  Let me say now that please don’t let money be a hindrance.  If your student would like to go, we will find a way to get them there.  The speaker is a man by the name of JR Vassar and the worship will be led by Kristian Stanfill, both who are dynamic in their fields. I think it will be a great time of high energy praise, worship and Bible teaching.
Here’s where I really need you parents.  In order to reserve our spot, we must have $60 deposits per student by January 31st.  I know you are all super busy and the 31st is quickly approaching.  So I need to know a) if you think your student might be interested and b) if your student is available that week.  Even if you are a NO for sure, please let me know.  I’ve emailed our students this info as well in hopes that they too might help me spread the word and get me the info asap.  If it seems like most of our students can’t go or there’s not enough interest, I’ll look elsewhere but I hope that you will prayerfully consider trying to make this happen for your student.  I actually got to go to several Student Life camps when I was in High School and I loved them.  I think it will be a great experience for all our students, which by the way is open for all our students who will have completed 5th-12th grade.  One last thing, we will be needing some extra male and female chaperone’s for any of you who might be interested.
